For more information on the Chimney type see
This beautiful Medieval Hall House is under going sensitive conservation to maintain its historic built fabric. This includes the removal of cement based repairs and modern latex paints throughout the property. Layers of paints have been peeled off by hand back to the original limewash layers.
The later D shaped conical chimney, the outside of the building will undergo sensitive conservation in 2020 with the removal of the cement pointing and modern synthetic paints. The exterior will then be limewashed and pigmented with the correct vernacular colours of Pembrokeshire .
